Under Armour recently has brought back popular Curry models from back when Curry received his first signature shoe. This time around Under Armour is rumored to be bringing back the “Back to Back MVP” pack which features the Curry 1 and Curry 2.
In 2016 Curry was the first unanimous MVP and had won the MVP award in back to back years. Curry and his Golden State Warriors almost won back to back NBA titles but LeBron and his Cleveland Cavaliers had other plans. Despite Curry losing in the NBA Finals in 2016, Under Armour still celebrated his back to back MVP awards by releasing a “Back To Back MVP” pack which retailed for $400 USD.
The Curry 1 we’ve seen released quite a few times. It has some statistics on the uppers that fades into the toe box area and comes dressed in black and gold. The Curry 2 is a simpler colorway with the majority of the sneaker coming dressed in black with the exception of the toe box area being covered in gold. It also does have gold Under Armour and Curry branding.
These are uploaded to the Champs website with a release date of June 30th, but Under Armour has yet to confirm the release of the Curry MVP “Back To Back MVp” Pack. It seems that each pair will be released individually for $200 USD with no special packaging.
