As was first reported by Travis Singleton for SneakerReporter.Com, Tyreke Evans has agreed to a one year deal with the Indiana Pacers worth $12 million dollars.

Evans reportedly had narrowed down his choices to a few teams but ultimately decided the Pacers were the place for him. It’s a good fit for both sides as the pacers can use a player on the wing who also can handle the ball and create his own shot the way Evans can. For Evans personally, this deal puts him on a playoff team that is expected to improve on their first round exit this season, while allowing him the playing time to get the best production possible.

Last season with the Memphis Grizzlies, Evans averaged 19.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists while shooting 45% from the field and just under 40% from three.
