The Chicago Bears (0-4) will be taking on the Washington Commanders (2-2) on Thursday night football available to watch on Amazon Prime Video. Kickoff will be at 7:15 PM central daylight time.

The Bears come off a very difficult home game loss against the Denver Broncos. The Bears were up 28-7 and had a 21-point lead over the Broncos which ultimately led to a 31-28 final score resulting in the Bears fourth consecutive loss this season. A lot of questions are up in the air about this Bears team with injuries, locker room issues, and play calling. Justin Fields and the Bears offense looked consistent through three quarters against the Broncos and will look to keep up that same style of play on offense against the Commanders. As for the Defense there are multiple injuries for the Bears on defense but that does not take away the fact that the Bears can not stop the run or third and long which is something the Bears will want to adjust ahead of the Commanders game.

The Commanders led by Sam Howell took the defending NFC champions and division rivals the Philadelphia Eagles into overtime but fell short on the road with the final score being 34-31. The Commanders offense fought for this game and nearly came away with a victory and only look to build upon this loss, they competed at a high level with the NFC champions last season. The Commanders offense has an easier test this week against the Bears as they do not have an answer on how to stop the passing or rushing game. The Commanders defense allowed 415 total yards against the Eagles, but they’ll face a Bears offense that is still finding its legs and if they can keep Fields in the pocket and force pressure it should be a game the Commanders can win.

These two teams faced off against each other last year on primetime, they will yet again face each other. The Bears will look to win their first game of the season, while the Commanders try to stay above .500 winning percentage.
