The Chicago Bears (2-4) will be visiting the New England Patriots (3-3) this week to conclude week 7 of the NFL Season. The Bears are coming into this game with three straight losses and will look to avoid a fourth straight loss. As for the Patriots they have home field advantage and are fresh off back to back victories.

The Bears Offense has struggled the past few weeks. In the 12-7 loss against the Washington Commanders the Bears offense only put up 7 points in a game they had plenty of opportunities to take the lead and had many redzone opportunities. Justin Fields and the Bears offense just couldn’t punch it in when the opportunity presented itself. The Bears are 31st in scoring offense which is one of the league’s worst but have one of the best rushing offenses. The Bears offensive line will have to do a better job at protecting Fields and allowing him more time to throw, Fields was hit plenty against the Commanders and appeared to be playing hurt. As for the Bears defense they have not been able to stop the run as of lately as their front 7 has struggled against opponents rushing game. The Bears secondary hasn’t been all too bad and will look to limit quarterback Mac Jones and force turnovers. The Bears key to victory will be the Bears offense: they will have to score touchdowns when the opportunity presents itself and not settle for field goals.

The Patriots are starting Jones and he will be leading the patriots offense after missing three weeks. The Patriots came off an impressive 38-15 victory over the Cleveland Browns, in which the Patriots defense forced four turnovers. Zappe has kept the Patriots offense efficient and has put up points as he had 2 passing touchdowns in the victory over the Browns. Jones will look to take advantage of the the bears defense as they’ve struggled as of recently but with Eddie Jackson and Jaylon Johnson in the secondary he’ll look to be cautious with the deep ball. The Patriots defense has been carrying the workload as they’ve played lights out and forced four turnovers against the browns and had four sacks. The defense will look to force Fields into uncomfortable throwing situations and get a few sacks as the Bears offensive line has struggled to protect Fields. Fields has nearly thrown an interception in every game this year so the Patriots ball hawking defense will look to add more interceptions to their tally. The Patriots key to victory will be to manage the clock and keep possession of the ball on offense just like they did against the Browns.

Score Prediction: Patriots Win (28-7)
