Week 13 of the NFL season will kickoff with The Buffalo Bills heading to Gillette Stadium to face off against their division rivals the New England Patriots. Kickoff will be at 7:15 Central Daylight Time on Amazon Prime Video.

The Bills (8-3) come off a 28-25 thanksgiving win against the Detroit Lions. Buffalo is currently tied with the Miami Dolphins for first place in the AFC East division, a win against the patriots would help their chances of securing the first seed in their division. Despite the Bills offense putting up 401 yards in total offense they found themselves having to comeback in the final seconds of the game against the Lions ultimately setting up Tyler Bass for the game winning field goal. The Bills offense has been one of the league’s best when it comes to passing they are currently ranked third in passing, and also second in scoring offenses as they put up at least 28 points a game. Josh Allen is currently leading his team in rushing with 561 rushing yards and also has 3,183 passing yards. As for the Bills defense they rarely allow more than 18 points a game and have been almost lights out every game this season, but the bills defense will be without veteran Von Miller as he has been ruled out with a knee injury.

The Patriots (6-5) come off a 33-26 loss against the Minnesota Vikings. The Patriots were in a tough game last week against the Vikings as each team was exchanging points but the patriots ultimately lost due to a running into the kicker call that changed the game which led the Vikings to winning the game. Despite the Patriots offense not having a turnover they had 409 yards of total offense but failed to get first downs which proved to be costly in the long run. Mac Jones and the rest of the Patriots offense will have to be consistent against a tough Bills team that rarely makes mistakes or allows big plays. As for the Patriots defense they’ll have their hands full with having to go up against Allen, Stefon Diggs, Isaiah McKenzie, Gabriel Davis, and Devin Singletary. But the Patriots defense only allows opposing offenses to score on average 18 points, so New England could have a shot at slowing down a high powered Bills team.

A very important AFC East divisional matchup between the Bills and Patriots could very well be the game of the week as both teams need a win to stay in contention for the playoffs. A Bills win would put them atop of the division and a Patriots win would draw them closer to second or third place depending on the New York Jets.
