Seemingly become one of the brand’s most ubiquitous models of the last five years, Peter Moore’s 37-year-old design continues to deliver compelling styles inspired by everything from Japanese festivals to fruit. Part of a larger collection including pairs inspired by dragon fruit and bananas, the newly-surfaced colorway features a predominantly dark green, textured fabric meant to resemble the American fruit’s most outer layer.

This offering of the Nike Dunk Low features an Olive base nodding to the outer skin of an avocado paired with Green contrasting accents resembling the inside of the fruit. Vibrant green peeks out from underneath the Nike Dunk‘s series of overlays, further creating a connection to the avocado. Additional details includes an avocado “sticker” on the lateral forefoot and insole along with “Nutrition Facts” tag hiding on the inner tongue tags. The Dunk Lows comes housed in special packaging along with a mesh shopping bag.
