Nike Kobe 8 “Mambacita” First Look

Nike is releasing yet another “Mambacita” colorway but this time on the Nike Kobe 8 Protro. Similar to the Kobe 4 and Kobe 6 this colorway pays homage to Gianna Bryant. Nike nor Vanessa Bryant have released an official statement about this specific pair yet but these images have been surfacing all over the internet. 

The Kobe 8 Protro “Mambacita” has a butterfly pattern on the uppers of the sneaker with a gold Nike swoosh. The midsole, tongue, and sock liner are all dressed in black with a gold Kobe Bryant logo on the tongue as well. The heel tabs feature “Gigi” on the left foot and the number “2” on the right foot paying tribute to Gianna “Gigi” Bryant. 

While no official statement or release date about the Kobe 8 Protro “Mambacita” has been announced yet, it’s likely we will see these release in 2024. For now take a first look at the Kobe 8 Protro “Gigi”.
