Nike Basketball has scheduled the latest version of the Kyrie model to launch in November, today Nike has released officially images of Irving’s latest signature shoe.

Designed with quickness and cutting in mind, The Nike Kyrie 7 comes equipped with several of Nike’s top-performing technologies. This includes data-informed traction pattern for grip during “shifty, unpredictable perimeter play” along with a supportive composite mesh upper, and ditching the strap from past Kyrie models for TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) “fingers” on both sides that go down to the strobel. This was added to offer security and an improved fit.

Familiar features that have made a return are the articulated Air Zoom Turbo units in the forefoot for responsiveness and court feel, signature iconography of his mother and daughter, and a chassis that is carried over from the Kyrie 6.

“We’ve constantly made sure that the features of my shoe translated over to me and my game,” says Kyrie Irving, “Talking about creativity, you’re constantly exploring new ways of doing things. I’m always thinking about how we can grow existing silhouettes or try something completely new.”

Nike will launch the Kyrie 7 in four “Preheat” colorways inspired by sport, art, film, and music. These styles will release on November 11th in a “mystery box style,” which buyers won’t know which of the four pairs they have unlocked until a pair has been secured and then unboxed.

The “Preheat” styles include “Special FX” that pays homage to Irving’s love for filmmaking. The “Expressions” draws inspiration from the baller’s love for art and the freedom of artistic expression. The third iteration is “Icon of Sport”nodding to Irving’s list of “hoop influencers.” And the final of the collection, “Soundwave” inspired by his love for music and “how the vibrations influence his game.” Each pair will retail for $140 USD.
