P.J. Tucker heard the noise and wanted to remind everyone that he’s still here. The Houston Rockets guard was nowhere to be found in our Week 1 list of Kicks Through the Lens but this week P.J. came back with a vengeance. Ja Morant looks to be healing quite fast from a nasty ankle injury earlier in the week. Morant sported some OG Kobe’s that are due to come back out in Protro form this year. Phoenix Suns’ superstar, Devin Booker, is one of just a few players left in the league that prefer to rock the Kobe 4 Protros on court. The silhouette is timeless, so by all means Booker, keep the P.E.’s coming. Carmelo Anthony passed Tim Duncan on the NBA’s all-time scoring list, moving up to spot #14. Melo was seen wearing a Jordan XXXV P.E. that appears to be wine-inspired. This is most likely due in part to Carmelo being a wine connoisseur himself, while at the same time his game has aged like fine wine.

New sneaker free agent for the 2020-21 NBA season, Langston Galloway, is letting people know that his collection runs deep and can rival with the best of them. Not too often you see an NBA player brave enough to rock kicks in an actual game that are 15+ years old. LeBron James’ 18 P.E.’s consisted of another banger this past week. Can LeBron keep this momentum with his 18th signature shoe going for the rest of the season? Will we start to see Kobe 6 Protro P.E.’s soon? Scroll below to see Kicks Through the Lens for week 2.
