The first weekend of the new year, Justin Bieber dropped his latest single “Yummy,” the first single off Bieber’s long-awaited fifth studio album, which may be titled Forever. The first since 2015’s Purpose, will reportedly feature collaborations with Travis Scott, Post Malone, and Kehlani. A day after the release “Yummy,” Bieber treats fans with the visual.
Directed by Bardia Zeinali, Bieber enters into a fancy party sporting pink hair and a pink Drew House hoodie seemingly underdressed for the occasion. Once seated viewers are thrown into the hook of the single, as Bieber feast on an array of food including lobster, a green tower of jello, and Chinese takeout. Dining alongside some snazzy-dressed seniors while young violinists entertain the guests. The party eventually breaks out and Bieber gets on top of the table to bust out a few moves in the final moments.
“Yummy,” isn’t a song to write home as some fan believe it to be the worst song in his discography, maybe not the same catchy hook as ” Sorry,” or deeper meaning as ” Love Yourself,” it is still an enjoyable song to give a listen to every once in a while.
Bieber will be returning to the road on a North American arena tour, starting May 14 in Seattle. If you can’t wait that long to see more Bieber, the premiere of Justin Bieber: Seasons, a 10-part YouTube docuseries chronicling the last four years of his life is set to release on Jan. 27.
