A New Jordan Luka 1 has surfaced in “Safari” themed colorway. This colorway takes inspiration from the Jordan 3 “Black Cement” and the Air Max 1 “Safari”. The Luka 1 borrows the Safari pattern and the elephant print pattern from each respective shoe.
Originally released in 1987, the dotted print was designed by Tinker Hatfield when Nike Released the Nike Air Safari which wasn’t very popular back then, but a re-release happened in 2002 with Japanese retailer Atmos. The elephant pattern comes from the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” which was originally released in 1988 also designed by Hatfield. On this Luka 1 the left shoe comes dressed in the safari pattern and the right shoe comes dressed in the elephant print with hints of orange throughout the shoe.
This Pair will release on February 20th with a retail price of $110 USD, but for now take an official look down below at the Luka 1 “Safari”.
