2019 overall number 1 pick, Zion Williamson is probably the most heralded NBA draftee since the King himself. After bursting through his PG 2s during his time at Duke the world at large wondered where the 6’7’, 285 pound phenom would land in the realm of sneakers. For months, there was a bidding war for the sneaker services of the 19 year old wunderkind. Well, wonder no more as Zion has joined the roster of one of the most storied brands in history–Jordan Brand. From being “the next LeBron” to signing with the GOAT, Zion has big shoes to fill and with choice to join legends like Ray Allen, Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, and Maya Moore it shows that Zion has no fear of being in anyone’s shadow.

Jordan Brand has been making big waves with the signings this summer further diversifying their already vaunted roster including Redskins QB Dwayne Haskins. In addition to Haskins, Jordan Brand added WNBA All-Star Kia Nurse, New York Liberty guard Asia Durr, Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum, and the Washington Wizards #9 pick in the 2019 draft, Rui Hachimura.

Jordan Brand has prioritized the future with it’s young core of signings setting them up to dominate the future. Tatum joining the Jordan Brand comes as a bit of a surprise after Nike selected him to debut the Nike Adapt BB thus pegging him as the future of the Swoosh. With Rui Hachimura, one of Japan’s biggest stars and the first Japanese-born player to be drafted in the NBA, Jordan Brand is looking to tighten their global grip on the market.

Which of these young talents do you think will be the first to have their own silhouette?
