Today, Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone announced that veteran quarterback Nick Foles will takeover as the team’s starting quarterback when they play again in Week 11.

Jacksonville spent big money—and quickly—to bring Foles on board in hopes of securing at least complacent quarterback play after years of letting Blake Bortles take the field. Yet, his debut didn’t last long as he went down with a broken clavicle after throwing his first (and for now, only) touchdown of the season.

This brings an end to #MinshewMania. After half a season of Gardner Minshew as their starter the last image we’re likely to get of him is his turnover-heavy performance in London. At least we will always have the fake mustaches.

The Jaguars offense has steadily surprised and Foles now has a true star to throw to in wide receiver D.J. Chark. With the team sitting two games back of the Houston Texans in the AFC South, the playoffs are still within grasp.
