Kyrie Irving, Brooklyn Nets (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

This was definitely a different season for Kyrie Irving who stood for what he believed in. Kyrie was only available for 29 games due to his stance on the COVID-19 Vaccine. We learned a lot more about Kyrie Irving and his personal life this past season. He did a lot more Instagram Lives and Interviews this season than he has in the past. When Kyrie Irving is on the court he’s one of the best players that the game has ever seen. This season Kyrie averaged 27.4 PPG and showed that he could get it done even with limited playing time. Check out below the work that Kyrie was able to put in proving nothing can stop his amazing layup package and offensive skill set.

Kyrie came into the season with a little friction over the “Nike Kyrie 8” with Nike but patched it up during the season. In the 29 games that Kyrie played in, he still showcased a lot of heat on the court. Every night Kyrie hit the court he channeled his inner Mamba Mentality and honored Kobe & Gigi on his sneakers. Kyrie has the best-selling Nike Basketball shoe on a yearly basis and a lot of his peers in the NBA rock his shoe on a nightly basis.

The Nike Kyrie Collection was on full display in the 2021-2022 season. This year he rocked some of the dopest PEs as he continues to put Brooklyn on the map while showcasing his Mamba Mentality. Kyrie comes with some crazy colorways that aren’t available to the public but they always hope for a public release soon after. The Nike Kyrie’s had some dope colorways that were released to the public that can be seen below before all the PEs. Check out the Nike Kyries that he laced up on the court below with his PEs.

There were some rumors going around saying that Nike may not continue with the Kyrie Brand. If that were to be true Nike & Kyrie gave us a lot of heat and colorways to remember. Overall it will be a huge loss for Nike as Kyrie brought them a lot of revenue and still remains to be a huge draw in the NBA from the public.

Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

Featured

Trae Young entered the league in 2018 and has been nothing short of spectacular. Young has proven that size doesn’t matter when you’re one of the best shooters in the world. From Norman to Atlanta this man Trae Young has let it be known that he’s a professional bucket getter. On the season Trae averaged 28.4 PPG and 9.7 AST for the Atlanta Hawks. He’s been a true leader and someone that the whole city of Atlanta has embraced.

Even though the season didn’t end the way that Trae Young and the Hawks would like in 2022. The Hawks have a bright future and a star that’s leading them in the right direction for the future. The Hawks were in the Eastern Conference Finals last year and with the emergence of Trae Young, they will be back very soon. Ice Trae has shown that he can score and get his teammates involved at an elite rate in the NBA throughout his early career. Young can hit you for 50 points and turn around then give you 15 assists. That’s how much his game has matured in a short span of time and he will only get better in ATL under Nate McMillian.

The Adidas Trae Young 1 was on full display in the 2021-2022 season. This year he’s rocked some of the dopest PEs as he continues to put Atlanta on the map. PJ Tucker, Miami Heat (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

PJ Tucker, Miami Heat (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

Featured

PJ Tucker has always been a huge sneakerhead and he’s clearly the NBA Sneaker King. What gets lost in all the sneaker attention that PJ receives is his journey/grind. From his days at the University of Texas all the way to being on the Miami Heat this season. One thing that has always traveled with PJ Tucker is his heart, grind, and determination. PJ Tucker is one of the best defenders in the NBA and he’s been able to make a career out of it. If I’m starting an NBA team I would want a player like PJ Tucker on the team because I know he’s going to work hard and never cheat the game.

This season in Miami PJ Tucker averaged 7.6 PPG & 5.5 RPG but his impact goes beyond the stats. PJ Tucker has been a great addition to the Heat because he’s able to defend the best player on the other team every night. Another big thing that PJ has brought to the table was his improved corner 3-point shot. It seems like every time that Miami needs that big crucial shot in a game Jimmy Butler would draw and kick to that corner. PJ has been dependable his whole career and every coach knows what he brings to the game every night.

Now when it comes to PJ Tucker’s sneaker game I name him “The Cheat Code”. PJ has been able to get his hands on some of the most exclusive kicks that are hard to find. PJ Tucker has even had sneakers that players had made exclusively for them and PJ popped up with them. PJ Tucker’s sneaker collection is insane and he has almost everything you can think of. You can truly tell that PJ Tucker enjoys the hunt for finding sneakers and he wears his sneakers.

You can’t be the Sneaker King with a lot of deadstock sneakers he takes pride in rocking his heat. Being the equipment manager for PJ Tucker I’m sure has to be some serious work as much as he switches sneakers per quarter. Below are some kicks that PJ Tucker has rocked on the court during his career before this season because he has way too much heat for a Top 10 PE for 2021-2022.

Below are some of the exclusive kicks that PJ Tucker rocked in the past seasons. We can’t get to all the crazy heat that PJ Tucker wore in the past season but you get the idea. Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

Featured

Devin Booker’s one of the most lethal shooters that the NBA has seen in quite some time. Devin Booker idolized everything about Kobe Bryant and Booker showcases that Mamba Mentality every night on the court. A switch turned on for Devin Booker in the NBA Bubble and he hasn’t looked back at all.

Last season Booker accompanied by Chris Paul was able to bring the Phoenix Suns to the NBA Finals against Milwaukee. Even though the Bucks didn’t come out of the Finals victorious Devin Booker took it as a challenge to do every and anything to get his team back into the same position in the 2021-2022 season.

Well in the 2021-2022 season all Devin Booker and the Suns did was come out strong to have the best record in the whole NBA (64-18). Devin Booker has continued to improve his game and play at an elite level. This season Devin Booker averaged 26.8 PPG, 5.0 REB, and 4.8 AST in 68 games. D-Book was able to show people that he has what it takes to “Be Legendary” just like Kobe told Devin Booker back in 2016. Booker even got “Be Legnady” tattooed on his arm to honor Kobe Bryant as well. Devin Booker has rocked nothing but Kobe’s and has one of the best Kobe Bryant sneaker collections among NBA players. This season Devin Booker rocked the Nike Kobe 4, 5, and 6 on the court. Below we will be highlighting some of the dope PEs that Booker wore this season.

Below are the Honorable Mentions that didn’t make the Player Exclusive cut because they were released to the public. Devin Booker has been one of the players that Nike makes sure gets the Mamba Mentality treatment through the Kobe Line. Nike released Kobes/AF1 in PHX or Devin Booker colorways and blessed the public with a chance to grab them.

Norman Powell, Montrezl Harrell, Lance Stephenson (SneakerReporter Top 10PEs Series)

Norman Powell, Montrezl Harrell, Lance Stephenson (SneakerReporter Top 10PEs Series)

Featured

This has been an interesting season for all three of these players Norman Powell, Montrezl Harrell, and Lance Stephenson. One thing they all have in common is that they have been grinding their whole NBA journeys. Another thing that all three have in common is the AND-1 Basketball “Attack 2.0” they graced on the court in the 2021-2022 season.

The AND-1 “Attack 2.0” designer Ryan Holler showcased his work as this is easily the best AND-1 Basketball sneaker in recent memory. The Attack 2.0 has been cooked up with some amazing colorways that were worn by Powell, Harrell, and Stephenson.

Norman Powell has been the face of the AND-1 Basketball all of the 2021-2022 season in the NBA. He signed with AND-1 last year and has been rocking the AND-1 “Attack 2.0” in some dope colorways. It didn’t matter if Powell was on the Trail Blazers or his new team the Los Angeles Clippers he had PEs for the occasion. On the season Norman Powell averaged 21.4 PPG, 2.8 REB, and 2.8 AST.

It was clear that after his trade from Portland to LA that Powell was in a comfortable role. With Paul George and Kawhi Leonard down throughout the majority of the season Powell was able to showcase his scoring ability in a big market. Powell had one of his best seasons in the NBA and he made sure that AND-1 hooked him up with some dope Attack 2.0 PEs in the process.

Montrezl Harrell has been a true sneakerhead as he’s been able to rock whatever he wants on the court. He’s in a great situation where sneaker companies send him products to try and get him on their brands. One of those brands that have been trying to pry Harrell away from the other companies is AND-1. Montrezl has some of the best AND-1 “Attack 2.0” samples that have been made ever.

This season he wore the Attack 2.0 only 1 time this season. In the past, he wore it multiple times in a season including the Attack 2.0 Christmas, Ghost Busters, and Army PEs which can be seen below. On the season Montrezl Harrell averaged 14.1 PPG,6.7 REB, and 2.1 AST. In the one game he rocked the Attack 2.0 against Toronto he scored 15 PTS & 10 REB. Montrezl has always been a dawg and he showcased that when he was traded to Charlotte from Washington.

Lance Stephenson is one of the all-time faces of AND-1 Basketball. This season he rocked some dope AND-1 silhouettes and wore two pairs of the AND-1 “Attack 2.0” PEs. Lance had a crazy year where he went from signing a 10-day with the Hawks. Then signed for the rest of the season with his beloved Pacers. On the season with Indiana Lance averaged 9.3 PTS, 2.8 REB, and 3.9 AST.

Stephenson has made his impact on the Pacers organization and the AND-1 Basketball brand throughout his career. All season Lance showed that he still has what it takes to play at a high level and stepped in big time when the Pacers suffered from injuries. Check out some of his highlights from the 2021-2022 season with the Indiana Pacers.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks (SneakerReporter Top 10 PEs Series)

Featured

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most dominant players we have seen since Shaquille O’Neal. It doesn’t matter who is guarding him when he’s in a zone because “The Greek Freak” is going through them. It’s rare that we see a player of his build with so much pure strength that can bully his way around in the paint.

It’s safe to say that Giannis has been able to stand out with his style of play in a league that’s now known for shooting. The Greek Freak is playing with house money now as he’s been the NBA league MVP and he’s won an NBA Championship. The only pressure that can come his way now is from himself because he proved that you can win in a small market and grind it out.

During the 2021-2022 season, Giannis Antetokoumpo put up more monster numbers again as he’s been announced as an MVP finalist. On the season Giannis averaged 29.9 PPG, 11.6 REB, and 5.8 AST per game in 67 games. It seems like every year Giannis just continues to strive for greatness and approach his offseasons trying to get better.

One thing that Giannis improved on was his shooting ability. In the past teams tried to back up to let him shoot but his work ethic/gym hours put a stop to that this season. Giannis has hit the jumper at a consistent rate and he’s been making teams pay for it.

This season Giannis has been rocking all of his Nike Zoom Freak silhouettes on the court. One night you can see Giannis in the Nike Zoom Freak 1 and then the next in the Nike Zoom Freak 2 or 3. Nike has laced Giannis up with some of the best PEs that he has seen this season.

A lot of players in the NBA are wearing the Nike Zoom Freak 3 and that’s a credit to the great job Nike did with this shoe. Nike and Giannis have dropped one of the dopest collaborations ever with UNO. Check the Nike x UNO collection below as Giannis wanted Nike to make something featuring his favorite game.
