Adidas Dame 9 Early Look

Adidas Dame 9 Early Look

Featured

Damien Lillard has a new team and has a new shoe with Adidas potentially coming soon. The Adidas Dame 9 sketches have recently surfaced on the internet, and were also seen on Lillards Feet during a practice session.

Not much is known about the Adidas Dame 9 but by the looks of it on feet it looks like a midcut sneaker and a lightweight sneaker. The Dame 8 did not feature boost technology so it will be interesting to see if Adidas is going with boost technology rather than lightstrike for the Dame 9. The two tone upper seems to be a popular design recently with Adidas as they are doing it with the upcoming AE 1 and D.O.N issue 6.

No official release date has been released but these will likely be released early 2024 before the NBA playoffs begins. For now take a look down below at the sketches of the Dame 9.

Adidas D.O.N Issue 6 First Look

Adidas D.O.N Issue 6 First Look

Featured

Donovan Mitchell’s sixth signature sneaker with Adidas, the brand with the three stripes, has recently leaked on the internet.

The D.O.N Issue 6 is a little reminiscent of the predecessor with the TPU plate visible. The TPU plate seems to protect the foot from any lateral movement injuries. By the looks of it the D.O.N Issue 6 seems to be a bit bulkier but has yet to be confirmed. Unlike the D.O.N Issue 5 the D.O.N Issue 6 is a lot cut sneaker. The two tone layer is a change from the previous upper. It has not been confirmed if these will have Adidas Boost but the D.O.N Issue 5 did not have Boost technology.

No official release date has been confirmed at the time of writing for the D.O.N Issue 6 but is likely to be released around All-Star Weekend. For now take an early look at the D.O.N Issue 6 down below.

Two new colorways surfaced with a sail colorway and a light blue colorway. There are a lot of unique features in these sneakers in terms of design. The heel tab is inspired by the spinal part of the book, on the heel tab there is also a pulltab with mini pulltabs inside of referencing a book, and there is also the number 96 in reference to Booker’s birth year. Almost every Booker 1 colorway that’s been leaked has had differences in materials so it’ll be interesting to see how some of these translate on court.

While no official release date has been confirmed yet, the Booker 1 “For All The Dogs” is expected to release in December but in limited quantities. A global launch is expected in the Spring of 2024 before the Start of the NBA playoff campaign.

Dizygotic Commemorates the 19th Anniversary of Malice at the Palace

Dizygotic Commemorates the 19th Anniversary of Malice at the Palace

Sneaker Releases

Sneaker brand Dizygotic continues to prove itself as one of the most intriguing brands in the game. The brand meaning “alike but not the same” akin to non-fraternal twins focuses on asymmetry in their colorways with each sneaker in a pair paying homage to something different. They recently made waves with two pairs of Cheech and Chong-inspired colorways with the first drawing inspiration from Cheech and Chong’s iconic Up in Smoke film and the second featuring details from 1980’s Cheech and Chong’s Next Movie.

Now, Dizygotic is drawing influence from the basketball court with a sneaker inspired by the chaotic brawl between the Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers on November 19, 2004. The left sneaker takes from the iconic white and blue colorway of the Detroit Pistons and features a debossed blue cup on the tongue as a nod to the catalyst of the incident wherein a cup was thrown at Ron Artest.

It also includes Ben Wallace’s number 3 embroidered on the heel as a nod to his defensive prowess and the defensive duel between two of the best defenders of the era in Artest and Wallace. The right sneaker comes dressed in the Pacers yellow and blue colorway with stripe details appearing throughout the silhouette but most prominently on the heel including Metta Sandiford-Artest’s 91 embroidered across.

The sneaker’s details don’t stop there as even the insoles tell the story with the insole of the left sneaker featuring 45.9 printed on it, representing the time left in the game when the brawl started, as well as the final score of 97-82. The right sneaker completes the look with Indiana Pacer-style stripes and the date 11-19-2004 printed.

The Dizygotic Project Alpha “Malice at the Palace” is set to release on the 19th anniversary of the brawl on November 19, and will retail for $267 on dizygotic.com
