The Nike Air Force 1 is a cultural staple. Everyone has had a crispy pair of the White lows or even the all Black lows for those of a more fiendish variety. After over almost 40 years, Nike still finds a new way to continue innovating and remixing the classic. The latest Air Force one is the upcoming “Keep Em Fresh” colorway which may be one of the most unique and polarizing takes of Bruce Kilgore’s classic silhouette yet. Instead of the normal leather upper, this silhouette is shrouded by “AF1” branded tissue paper with “Timeless Classic Keep Fresh” printed on the lateral heel.

Below the shroud is an aged-looking version of the classic white lows with the snow white sole being replaced with a more yellowed looking version. The “Keep Em Fresh” colorway is set to drop in the coming weeks

The Enspire x Nike KD 13 Collab Colored Up In “Black Ice” And “Venom Yellow”

Sneaker Releases

Childhood companion Devonte Young and his streetwear imprint Enspire linked up again as following up to the Enspire x Nike KD 12s from 2019.

Today, as seen via social media this KD signature comes dressed in “Black Ice” as well as “Venom Yellow.”

Enspire x Nike KD 13
Color: Black Ice

Designed nearly identical to one another detailed with Enspire’s logo debossed across the ankle flaps. Both pairs also feature speckled detailing on the upper and midsoles. The Black Ice pair sports an iridescent Swoosh and dark icy soles, whereas the Venom Yellow opts for a much more clearer translucent outsole.

Color: Venom Yellow

As stated on the same insole of last year’s sneaker the “En” in Enspire is a reminder for those who are “En Route.” Because we’re all en route somewhere but the question that Enspire poses where are you “En Route” to and Who Have You Inspired on the way.

Compared to last year’s model this isn’t very far off with the inclusion of speckles translucent outsole and hints of Enspire’s logo. However, the color choices aren’t aligned to match the colors of Enspire’s light-hearted logo on the KD 12 version or embodies the had a playful childlike spirit which signifies KD and Devonte’s childhood friendship.

These upcoming colorways seem to be more tone down and have chosen simplicity over being extremely eye-catching. While no release date has been linked to the sneakers stay locked in with Sneaker Reporter as we’ll update on any new information.

Casablanca X New Balance XC-72

Casablanca X New Balance XC-72

Featured

2021 looks like it will continue to be the year of New Balance. Following the launch of one of their hottest silhouettes ever, the 327 designed by Charlotte Lee, New Balance is now unveiling a new silhouette helmed by the same designer.

As a part of the debut of the XC-72, New Balance is once more collaborating with men’s fashion house Casablanca on their new silhouette. Casablanca and New Balance previously came together for several pairs of the 327 that paid homage to the creator Charaf Tajer’s French and Moroccan roots.

This XC-72 collab evokes the same vibe using those same orange and green tones as the 327 collaboration. The white leather and suede overlays conjure the luxurious air that Casablanca is known for. The Casablanca XC-72 is flanked by a suede “N” with a white midsole and a green textured outsole, the collaboration is capped off with co-branding on the shoe’s tongue.
