Sneaker ReleasesNike introduced the SNKRS app back in 2015, these past few years the app has frustrated sneakerheads countless times with your entry wasn’t selected/ didn’t get ’em notification. However, in celebration of the app landing overseas in 19 European countries, Nike commemorates the occasion with “SNKRS Day” by re-releasing popular silhouettes.
On August 8th, Jordan Brand will be releasing a special edition Air Jordan 1 Low exclusively in Europe, featuring a yellow upper sitting atop a translucent sole unit and leopard graphics throughout.
A Yellow hue covers the majority of the Air Jordan 1 Low upper paired with Sail mesh collars and tonal liners, tongues, and laces. The leopard print is featured on the Swooshes and forefoot eyestay overlays and the print continues on the translucent outsole. Other details include 8.8.21 written on the tongue and red branded insole commemorating the holiday.

A Closer Look at the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Bordeaux”
Sneaker ReleasesThe Air Jordan 1 “Bordeaux” arrive in much the same styling as the “Midnight Navy” Air Jordan 1 CO.JP release, however, it forgoes the stitched tongue branding in favor of a traditional tag. Its overlays also opt for leather — not nubuck as seen on the blue pair.
Dressed in White leather upper with Bordeaux overlays and Silver Swoosh and Wings logos, similar to the A White midsole atop a Bordeaux rubber outsole that completes the design. While the colorway has been used before on other silhouettes, the Air Jordan 1 High hasn’t become accustomed to the shade of burgundy like other sneakers. This bright red, almost purple-like shade alludes to luxury just like a nice glass of Bourdeaux wine.
Officially slated to release on November 20th at select retailers and Nike.com set at $170 USD. Checkout image of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Bordeaux” below:
Nike Zoom Freak 3 Release Date
FeaturedTwo time MVP and Defensive player of the year Giannis Antetekounmpo is on the cusp of his first NBA Finals appearance and to help power his team Giannis and Nike are breaking the glass on the 26-year-old’s new signature. Dubbed the Freak 3, the latest model in Giannis’ line looks to maximize long strides, increase the effectiveness of his Eurostep, and improve his explosiveness at the rim.
The latest model returns to the line’s signature double Air Zoom unit structure under the ball of the foot. These units absorb and reduce the impact from Giannis’ thunderous dunks and tenacious blocks while also helping to transfer energy between each leg as he bounds through the lane for his signature move. The internal set up of the Freak 3 is lower to the ground than previous models allowing for tighter control and an improved traction pattern allows the Greek Freak to attack at even sharper angles.
The upper of the Zoom Freak 3 implements a breathable upper that allows more flexibility than previous models and adds a new element to the line, a midfoot strap. Giannis is always exploring options to keep his foot from sliding around the shoe on the court and the tried-and-true midfoot strap is sure to do just that, by anchoring his foot right above the Air Zoom units it provides Giannis with optimal explosiveness and responsiveness.
The Zoom Freak 3’s multtractional outsole takes inspiration from one of Nike’s most notable outsoles, honoring the storied legacy of Nike basketball that Giannis is helping to lift to new heights. The Black and Purple ‘Project 34’ and orange ‘Freak’ colorways launch July 1 globally and in North America this August.
A Story of Competitive Collaboration, Undefeated x Nike Premieres Nike Dunk vs. AF-1 With Lookbook
Sneaker ReleasesUNDEFEATED and Nike has presented detailed photography of the Air Force 1 “Ballistic” and Dunk Low “On Your Feet Kid.” The upcoming Dunk vs. AF-1 pack effectively retells a story of a partnership years old, taking the colorway of the most notable Dunk and Air Force 1 to come from this icon streetwear brand and putting them on the opposing silhouette. As a salute to the staying power of two of Nike Sportswear‘s most popular sneakers.
The Air Force 1 “Ballistic” features a military-style olive color scheme, rugged suede-and-nylon build, a yellowed midsole, and black branded hits. It’s inspired by 2003’s Dunk High “Ballistic,” a shoe that was a friends and family only style until it dropped as part of UNDEFEATED and Nike’s “Bring Back 2003” pack in 2012.
The Dunk Low “On Your Feet Kid” comes in a brown and white color scheme with thick leather seams and patterned detailing plus bold touches of yellow, taking inspiration from an Air Force 1 from 2006. Both feature UNDEFEATED’s Five Strike logo and are completed by special insoles.
To better celebrate the nearing release, Undefeated has invited Erik Koston, Aleali May, KB Lee, Lauren Wasser, Jimmy Gorecki, and Alex Smith to preview the Air Force 1 “Ballistic” or the Dunk Low “On Your Feet Kid” in a Lookbook. These sneakers to launch on June 18th via Undefeated’s online and physical stores, however, it’s unconfirmed whether we’ll see an SNKRS drop, but there’s definitely a chance.
