Polaroid is easily one of the most iconic photography brands of all time, synonymous with instant photos, this photography company continues to provide both film and compatible cameras to the masses. So to graciously honor the 85-year-old company Nike has teamed up with Polaroid to release a special edition collaborative SB Dunk Low.

Despite teaming up with fragment design, Teva, and even Star Wars in the past, Polaroid has rarely ever brought their Spectrum to sneaker culture, But tomorrow, however, that change t capture this moment thanks to Nike SB, who have offered their very own Dunk Low.

This offering of the Nike SB Dunk Low is quite simple featuring a Black leather base with White appearing on the branded tongues, heels, and rubber sole. Rendering the construction of this sneaker as nearly monochrome.   Highlighting the shoe is its Rainbow Swooshes on the sides nodding to the Polaroid logo. Multicolored insoles, and toe box embroidery, while the Polaroid name sits comfortably atop the right heel tab, lace tips, and left insole complete the design.

Union Announces Nike Dunk Low “Argon” Release Date

Sneaker Releases

The Union Los Angeles and Nike collaboration dubbed, the “Passport Pack” kickstarted last month with the release of the highly limited and exclusive Dunk Low “Pistachio.” Their partnership will now be expanding into 2022 with an upcoming Union x Nike Dunk Low “Argon,”paying homage to a rare pick-up Chris Gibbs purchased on a trip to Japan.

The “Passport Pack” essentially celebrates Chris Gibbs’s three homes: New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. Each colorway in the set is a modern take on a Dunk from the early ‘00s that helped lay the foundation for the Dunk to become the classic that it is today. Capturing the essence of global exploration, cultural inspiration, and personal evolution, this collection encourages you to get out and get what’s yours. Each pair comes with hangtags made to look like baggage claim tags housed in special boarding pass-themed packaging.

The white paints the swoosh as it does the tongue and laces; orange tags and emblems mark the profile, displaying the retailer’s “UN/LA” and Frontman branding; and red threads are found along the edge of every panel.

The Ethics lgONE “Frozen Coral” (Drops Today @ 11am EST)

The Ethics lgONE “Frozen Coral” (Drops Today @ 11am EST)

Featured

After the success of the first Ethics lgOne “Launch Edition” that was released on January 17th. Langston Galloway and his wife Sabrina are back with their second launch of the year the “Frozen Coral” which has been highly anticipated. Langston has debuted the “Frozen Coral” on the basketball court and the orange laces add some pop to the lgOne that we haven’t seen so far for retail.

I’m still waiting to get my hands on a pair of the lgOne but from people I respect in the industry, it’s one of the best sneakers to wear on the court for style and traction. Below is the press release from Langston & Sabrina about the “Frozen Coral” included with some beauty shots that will make you want to purchase these ASAP

PRESS RELEASE:

“Frozen Coral” is our next colorway of the Ethics lgONE.

When we started this journey we had a vision for what our shoes would become. The main focus was on materials, form and most important fit. Our shoes are for the players, by a player. We wanted the same approach for our colorways.

When it was time to start creating our “black” colorway, we knew it had to be above being just a “black colorway”. While this color space is typically based in the heart of the sport, the team. We wanted to add little elements to elevate it and make it more unique. Enter, Frozen Coral.

The color provides the right amount of pop to take it to the next level. The ice’d sole gives it a clean presence. The suede adds a touch that takes it above just a court a shoe.

The lgONE “Frozen Coral” goes on sale this Thursday 03-03-22 @ 11:00 am eastern.
