Nike Celebrates LeBron James Breaking All Time Scoring Record

Featured

Nike Collaborated with The Shoe Surgeon to make a special 1 of 1 Nike Lebron 20 celebrating Lebron James accomplishment on being the all time scoring leader in NBA History.

This pair will not release but Nike will probably release something else to celebrate this achievement. This pair has snakeskin material on the base of the shoe dressed in white, along with a gold swoosh that is textured and patterned, and a marble secondary swoosh. The midsole fades from white to gold, the forefoot area has a gold graphic design that features numbers throughout the forefoot area representing each milestone Lebron has surpassed. The outsole is translucent and has “+38,388K” written on the outsole.

While these may not be released it is worth mentioning because of LeBrons record breaking achievement and has become the NBAs all time leading scorer.

A New Jordan Luka 1 has surfaced in “Safari” themed colorway. This colorway takes inspiration from the Jordan 3 “Black Cement” and the Air Max 1 “Safari”. The Luka 1 borrows the Safari pattern and the elephant print pattern from each respective shoe.

Originally released in 1987, the dotted print was designed by Tinker Hatfield when Nike Released the Nike Air Safari which wasn’t very popular back then, but a re-release happened in 2002 with Japanese retailer Atmos. The elephant pattern comes from the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” which was originally released in 1988 also designed by Hatfield. On this Luka 1 the left shoe comes dressed in the safari pattern and the right shoe comes dressed in the elephant print with hints of orange throughout the shoe.

This Pair will release on February 20th with a retail price of $110 USD, but for now take an official look down below at the Luka 1 “Safari”.

The most notable features are the claw marks on the midsole area, the toe area which is embroidered, and the Nike swoosh comes dressed in black and white and it also has claw marks. Morants number 12 with the Memphis Grizzlies can also be seen embroidered on the heel tab.

A new Jayson Tatum 1 colorway has surfaced, Jayson Tatum is set to receive his first signature sneaker with Jordan Brand and will be joining Elite company as very few athletes have their own signature line.

The JT 1 was first revealed in a black/red colorway. This time we see a White, Red, and Blue colorway inspired by Tatum’s hometown in Missouri, with the “Archer Ave” street sign behind the right tongue referencing Tatum’s hometown. The fleur-de-lis logo is on the right back tab/pull tab which represents NOLA (Missouri) and both of the heels have Tatum’s number 0 which he wears with the Boston Celtics, and the combination of colors white, red, blue, and gold touch on the city’s official flag.

As for as technology goes there is Nike Zoom Air near the forefoot area it’s not confirmed if it’s full length or just in the forefoot area, it is also unknown if it will feature a special midsole cushioning such as Formula23 which is featured on the Luka 1.

Tatum has yet to officially wear his signature sneaker or announce it but we could potentially see him lace them up during NBA All-Star Weekend or during the NBA playoffs if the Boston Celtics qualify.
