Shareholders File lawsuit Against Adidas

Adidas is being sued by shareholders for the collaboration that Adidas had with Ye formerly known as Kanye West. The shareholders filed a class action lawsuit against Adidas.

It’s being reported that the shareholders are accusing Adidas of being aware of Ye’s behavior and could’ve prevented the situation from escalating into what it became. Back in October of 2022 Adidas had officially cut ties with Ye due to antisemitic comments he made.

As of right now Adidas does have a lot of Yeezy branded products in their inventory and haven’t decided how they are going to deal with the situation. There are reports that they may end up releasing without yeezy branding on them or completely destroying every product that they have. Adidas did announce that they would figure out what to do with those products later on in 2023.

Jordan 1 X Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse Official Look

Jordan Brand is collaborating with Marvel and friendly neighborhood Spider-Man to release another Air Jordan 1. After the success of Spider-Man: Into the Spider- Verse, the sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is one of the most anticipated films of the year.

The Air Jordan 1 X Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is inspired by the multiverse as it has different patterns and stitches that look like it’s being shifted through the multiverse. The multiverse does play a big role in the upcoming film. The colorway is inspired by the classic Air Jordan 1 “Chicago”, the 2018 pair also was a Chicago inspired colorway but had a different design on the overlays and outsole.

This pair is releasing in full family sizing on May, 20th on the Nike SNKRS app and select few retailers. The Men’s pair is going to retail for $200 USD but it hasn’t been said how much grade-school, preschool and toddler will be retailing for as they all have different retail prices. The movie is also set to release on June 2nd, 2023.

Kevin Durant Signs Lifetime Deal With Nike

Phoenix Suns Superstar Kevin Durant has signed a lifetime deal with Nike. Kevin Durant joins an elite company at Nike with lifetime deals which includes Los Angeles Lakers Superstar LeBron James, Portuguese Soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo and Micheal Jordan.

Nike and Durant have been working together since 2007 when he was a rookie and will now be with Nike for a lifetime. Durant is now on his 15th signature sneaker and in the past few years they’ve been releasing older models such as the KD4 and KD3. When Durant was asked about his time at Nike this is what he had to say.

“When I first signed with Nike, I couldn’t have dreamed of how far we’d go in this partnership. We’ve done amazing work creatively and philanthropically. We’ve traveled the world together and built a business that will now last forever,” Durant Said. “I’m excited for the future and honored to be in rare company with this deal.”

Durant is currently in the NBA Playoffs battling for another championship and also has his sixteenth signature sneaker with Nike on the way.

Nike SB Dunk Low X Jarritos Detailed Look

Mexican soda brand Jarritos has collaborated with Nike to make a special Nike SB Dunk Low. It looks like Jarritos and Nike agreed upon one colorway releasing, and that colorway was inspired by the most popular Jarritos drink which is the Mandarin Orange soda.

The sneaker comes with canvas beige overlays, a canvas green swoosh, and white leather on the toe box, midfoot panel and heel. There is also Jarritos branding on the heel and Jarritos-inspired Nike SB logos are on the tongue and heel tabs. A unique detail on this shoe is that if you remove the beige overlays with a knife there is a hidden layer of orange that is made up of suede that is in reference to the orange soda, as well as the swoosh that is green that can also be cut off and has a orange underlay.

The Jarritos x Nike SB Dunk Low is expected to release on May 6th for a retail price of $130 on the Nike SNKRS app and at select few retailers.

Li-Ning Jimmy Butler 1 “Miami”

The Li-Ning Jimmy Butler 1 has been barley talked about and very underrated this season. Miami Heat Superstar Jimmy Butler currently has his team up 3-1 against the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the NBA 2022-23 playoffs.

This colorway pays homage to Miami, with hints of yellow, pink, blue and black throughout the sneaker. The upper fades from orange to pink and then fades to black near the toe box area. The midsole and outsole are covered with pink, and the TPU carbon fiber plate on the lateral side comes in four different colors such as yellow, pink, black and blue. The wording “MIA” is in reference to the Miami Heat which is the team Jimmy Butler plays for.

While no official release date has been announced yet, this will probably be available on Li-Ning website since there is no official store in the USA that Carries Li-Ning products.

Curry 1 Low Flotro “Mother’s Day”

Under Armour is bringing out yet another Curry 1 low Flotro but in a new colorway, this colorway celebrates “Mothers Day”.

This Under Armour Curry 1 Low “Mother’s Day” takes inspiration from the Curry 2 “Mothers Day”. On the Curry 1 Low it can be seen that there is a flower pattern all along the upper, with midsole fades from pink to black, and it also has Pink Under Armour and Curry branding. Additionally it does come with Flotro technology and an updated mesh upper as opposed to the original Curry 1.

While no official release date has been announced yet it is expected to be released around Mother’s Day, for now take a look down below at the Curry 1 Low Flotro “Mother’s Day”.
