Nike Removes Ja Morant 1 from their Website

Nike Removes Ja Morant 1 from their Website

Featured

Nike has seemingly removed the Nike Ja Morant 1 off their website and apps. Morant was seen holding up a gun on Instagram live, when 2 months ago he held up a pistol on his Instagram live at a Denver NightClub.

Morant signed a multi-year deal with Nike in May 2019, but could potentially be in risk of losing his contract with Nike.  The Ja Morant 1s were released on April 19, and have gained popularity in the basketball community. Nike does have the Ja 1 “Hunger” colorway set to release on May 25 which can be seen on the Nike SNKRS app.

If you’re still looking to purchase the Ja 1 there are Retail stores like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Foot Locker and resell apps like StockX and Flight Club that still have Ja 1s for sale. As of right now Nike has yet to announce the situation with Ja Morant but if there are any updates we will keep you updated.

Air Jordan 3 X J Balvin Coming Fall 2023

Air Jordan 3 X J Balvin Coming Fall 2023

Featured

Colombian Music Artist J Balvin is set to collaborate with Jordan brand yet again but this time on the Air Jordan 3. Balvin had collaborated with Jordan brand in previous years to give us an Air Jordan 1 and an Air Jordan 2.

This Air Jordan 3 is a lot less playful compared to his Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 2 collaborations. Balvin confirmed that this colorway is inspired by sunsets in his hometown of Medellín, Colombia, and the colors purple, orange and yellow gradient effect can be seen on heel tabs and the midsole. The Branding on the heel tabs are split; there is a Nike logo on the left side and Balvin’s signature smiley face logo on the right. There are also yellow accents surrounding the leather on the uppers of the sneakers in reference to the sun.

It is being rumored that these will be releasing on September 3rd for $250 USD which will probably be available on the Nike SNKRS app and select few retailers.

No. 2  Boston Celtics Vs No. 8 Miami Heat

The Eastern Conference Finals will feature the Miami Heat taking on the Boston Celtics for a chance to advance to the NBA Finals.

The Miami Heat have been one of the most impressive teams in the playoffs this year as they are the number 8 seed in the East. They knocked out the number 1 seeded Milwaukee Bucks in the first round and the New York Knicks in 6 games in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Jimmy Butler has single handedly put the Miami Heat on his back as the Heat are without Tyler Herro a reliable offensive player. The Heat have a difficult task at hand as they take on the Celtics who have a very well put together roster. If the Heat want any chance at winning this series they’ll have to play as a team like they did in the Knicks series and not just rely heavily on Butler.

The Celtics were on the brink of elimination in game 6 and 7 and found a way to win the series against the Philadelphia 76ers. Game 6 in the fourth quarter is where things really changed for the Celtics, the Celtics were having a tough game and Tatum was having one of his worst games of his playoff career that is until Tatum turned up the heat and forced a game 7 in which they had home court advantage. Though the 76ers are a tougher team than the Heat, the Celtics cannot underestimate this Miami Heat team as they’ve fought their way to the Eastern Conference finals and have not played like an eighth seed. The Celtics will have to rely on other players scoring the ball but Tatum and double team Butler to limit their biggest star.

Series Prediction: Boston Win in 6 games (4-2)

Detailed Look at the Nike KD 15 “50 Years of Hip-Hop”

Detailed Look at the Nike KD 15 “50 Years of Hip-Hop”

Featured

A new colorway of the Nike KD 15 pays homage to 50 years of hip hop, Nike had collaborated with 9th wonder to release a KD 15 in 2022. Kevin Durant has made it known he’s obsessed with music and more specifically the genre of hip hop.

This Nike KD 15 “50 years of hip hop” resembles his KD 15 “Off-White” PE that he wore when he was still with the Brooklyn Nets. The heels come dressed in a nice black leather material, the upper is dressed in a black and gray mesh, and the TPU plate and midsole are dressed in a cream color. Also worth noting there is no KD branding on the tongues like usual instead there’s Hip-Hop tongue tags and it also comes with a microphone hang tag.

While no official release date has been announced these will be retailing for $150 USD and will be one of the final KD 15 colorways to release before the Nike KD 16 hits shelves. For now take a look down below at a detailed look.

Best Look Yet At the Nike KD 16

Best Look Yet At the Nike KD 16

Featured

While Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns were eliminated by the Denver Nuggets in six games, Durant had been seen wearing his sixteenth signature sneaker against the Nuggets. While these aren’t official photos these are the best look yet at the Nike KD 16.

It seems like Nike kept the same material from the KD 15 on the upper of the shoes, but it is an entirely different look from the KD 15. The outsole pattern is quite a unique pattern as it looks like it’s from the inside of a watch that makes it move. The TPU plate takes up a good part of the lateral and medial sides. This colorway comes dressed in blue and purple with hints of aqua and white.

While no release information has been released yet it looks like the Nike KD 16 will be coming soon as Nike just released the KD 15 “What The” which for the most part means we’ve seen most of the colorways for the 15.
