Last week Adidas officially unveiled the Harden Vol. 4 – the fourth installment in James Harden’s signature sneaker line. Just four years ago Harden made the jump from ‘The Swoosh’ to The Brand With the Three Stripes, and hasn’t looked back since. He has become the face of Adidas basketball and has the best-selling Adidas signature sneaker. The Three Stripes is looking for their $200 million dollar man to further carry the load come this 2019-20 season.

The Adidas Harden Vol. 4 looks to be the first version in his line to not feature Adidas Boost technology. Harden’s fourth signature sneaker instead looks to use Lightstrike technology in the midsole, the same cushion set-up used in the Adidas N3XT L3V3L. While the Harden Vol. 3 was rather simple in design compared to its counterparts, the Vol. 4 adds more depth in construction using overlays, a variety of materials, and even more premium set-ups that include suedes and nubucks. The 2017-18 NBA Most Valuable Player had a record-breaking season last year and will surely look to reclaim his MVP throne this season while sporting his new shoe. Look for Harden’s fellow Adidas endorsers like Kyle Lowry, Zach LaVine, Jamal Murray, and Austin Rivers to rep the Vol. 4 during the 2019-20 campaign. Also expect Adidas’ marquee college programs like Kansas, Louisville, Washington, and Miami to have the Harden Vol. 4 as part of their on-court rotation this season. The first Adidas Harden Vol. 4 will release October 12th and will retail for $130. More colorways will release come late October and into early November.
