As of late DC Comics films have gotten a better review with to take the noir filler off all the characters and show a lighter, funnier side of its heroes, the success of its last two entries “Aquaman” and “Shazam” were surprisingly good based off the companies history. Fans loved the fact director James Gunn would be taking over the production of “Suicide Squad” a film that was better portrayed in the animated film “Assualt on Arkham,” Gunn promised that there was casting news coming soon for DC’s “The Suicide Squad,” and he delivered on the promise! Releasing the full main cast list for the film Friday.
This movie is going to be a star-studded event! Featuring John Cena, Viola Davis, Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, Joel Kinnaman, and Michael Rooker to name a few. The excitement of the film is hitting an all-time high without even releasing a teaser image or trailer but what you expected from the director of “The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 & 2.”

Tweeting out an image of the cast listings with the caption, “Don’t get too attached,” which tells us a few of the characters these actors will play are going to die. That the purpose of the squad, it doesn’t really exist and no one will any empathy if someone was to die on the mission.
Production on the film is said to start on September 23rd and “The Suicide Squad” is set to open in theaters on August 6th, 2021.
