Antetokounmpo & Holiday Propel The Bucks To Victory In Minnesota (115-102)

Antetokounmpo & Holiday Propel The Bucks To Victory In Minnesota (115-102)

Featured

The Milwaukee Bucks are now 8-0 on the season after beating the Timberwolves. Coming into this game the Timberwolves had a lot of questions that needed to be answered on both sides. What we saw tonight from the Timberwolves wasn’t the answer but they also showed growth as a unit. It was a better night from Minnesota on the interior defense but it was the second-chance points from the Milwaukee Bucks that helped them get the win. Minnesota had a lot of chances to get rebounds and loose balls but wasn’t able to get things to fall their way. Early in this game, Jrue Holiday asserted himself in every way possible. It seemed as though Holiday was able to get his shots off whenever he wanted too. Holiday got the Bucks offense jump started and they were able to hold a double digit lead majority of the game. Holiday finished with a game high 29 points, 6 assists, and 8 rebounds as well. Holiday made it tough for the Timberwolves on both ends of the floor tonight and it rubbed off on the former MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The second half is when Giannis went into the MVP bag and was able to get anything he wanted inside the paint. On the night Giannis had 20 free throw attempts and that just shows he was trying to impose his will tonight. When Giannis gets a full head of steam there is no one in the league that can stop him and that was clear tonight. It didn’t matter who was guarding Giannis he was going to make it a mission to get to the basket or find a teammate that can help. Giannis was able to notch his 30th career triple double tonight against Minnesota as he finished the game with 26 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists. The number that Giannis has been putting up is definitely MVP numbers and the fact that they were able to slow down the Timberwolves helped his case.

Bobby Portis came in the game and played some huge minutes for the Bucks as well. He finished with 18 points, 5 assists, and 8 rebounds on the night. Portis was able to hit some tough shots that were defended well and still made them. If the Bucks can continue to get this type of production they will have time for Khris Middleton to heal and come back 100%. The Timberwolves on the other hand were just trying to play catch up as they trailed the whole game.

Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns led the way for Minnesota combing for 46 points on the night. The Timberwolves showed some toughness in the second half as they got back into the game but they needed more shots being made by the other guys. Naz Reid the fan favorite came into the game and gave them a spark with his quick shooting but it slowed down. Coach Finch is going to have to mess around with the matchups/lineups to see what will work against teams that try to go small on him. The Timberwolves have all the talent to win the Western Conference they have to just put it together on the court and see what can happen. One of the major adjustments that Coach Finch made was playing Kyle Anderson as a point guard. It was working as Anderson was using his IQ to help set plays and get his teammates in position. Overall this is a game that the Timberwolves will not forget as they don’t know what came and hit them. Up next the Timberwolves will be playing against the inexperienced Houston Rockets as the Timberwolves will look to get back to 500%.

Primetime Preview: Tennessee Titans Vs Kansas City Chiefs (SNF Week 9)

Primetime Preview: Tennessee Titans Vs Kansas City Chiefs (SNF Week 9)

Featured

The Chiefs are coming into this game against the Titans off their bye week. It was a week for them to get some rest as Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce look to get things going early. During the bye week, the Chiefs added Kadarrius Toney from the New Giants as he can give them a boost in that Hill role. The Chiefs offense has been lethal all season and it doesn’t seem to matter what players they give Mahomes he still makes them look good. This season Patrick Mahomes has 2159 passing yards so far with 20 touchdowns. The Titans will have their hands full on the defensive end trying to slow him down but it will take an all-out effort. Juju was saying that the Chiefs offense has gained chemistry playing Call of Duty so we will get to see that on the field. Having Travis Kelce who’s the best tight end in football on your team makes things easier and he gets to open up the running game.

Clyde has been a great addition to the running game and the Chiefs will need him so that they can activate the play action game against Tennessee. The Chiefs defense will have their hands full on the flipside as they will be trying to stop Derrick Henry who gave everyone a scare with his foot this week. Henry assured the media that he was good to go and that he will be looking to run all over this Kansas City defense. Derrick Henry is one of the best running backs in the NFL and he will need to power the Titans to a win.

Ryan Tannehill has been limited in practice and looks to be a game-time decision so if that happens the Titans will roll with Willis again. Willis brings the running dynamic as he wasn’t able to showcase his arm strength but this week he might have to if he plays. The Chiefs will be looking to run up the score and the Titans don’t have the defense to slow down this powered offense from KC. The Titans will need Henry and that defense to lead the way if they want to get the victory in KC. It depends on who the quarterback is for this matchup with the Titans. Tannehill can open the offense and try to get Robert Woods going but with Willis, it will be challenging. This will be a matchup that we could see down the road in the playoffs but this game for the Titans depends on Henry. Just like the game depends on what Mahomes will do against this Titans defense tonight.

Prediction: 28 – 21 Chiefs over the Titans

Primetime Preview: Philadelphia Eagles vs. Houston Texans (TNF Week 9)

Primetime Preview: Philadelphia Eagles vs. Houston Texans (TNF Week 9)

Featured

The Philadelphia Eagles are coming into this matchup against the Houston Texans the only undefeated team left in the NFL. This season Jalen Hurts has been on a mission to show that he’s as elite as any other quarterback in the NFL. Jalen’s a true duel quarterback who can throw the ball and run the ball with the best of them. This season Jalen Hurts has thrown for 1,799 passing yards with 10 touchdowns. Inside the red zone, Jalen Hurts is pretty much automatic and last week he proved that real quick. Jalen Hurts connected with his new weapon AJ Brown last weekend for 3 touchdowns and it got ugly quickly. Jalen Hurts had 285 yards passing and 4 touchdowns as they were able to rest Hurts against the Steelers after his massive half. Hurts was lethal in that matchup against the Steelers defense but his counterpart AJ Brown was on another level.

AJ Brown had 3 touchdowns and after every touchdown he let it be known that his defenders on the Steelers were too small. Tonight against the Texans defense look for Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown to strike quickly and early again. The Texans defense has been suspect this season and this is a defense that the Eagles will be able to pounce on ASAP. The Eagles offense has been impressive this season and it doesn’t matter what running back is in the backfield as they all can get loose. Sanders, Boston, and Gainwell all bring something to the table and help Hurts when he needs a breather. The Eagles defense has been playing lights out and will try to slow down Davis Mills. Darius Slay has been a ball hawk all year and he will have his hands full with a pissed-off Brandin Cooks who feels disrespected after the trade deadline.

Speaking of Brandin Cooks he’s the best wide receiver on this Houston team and he will need to get open if they’re going to have a chance to beat the Eagles. The other bright spot for the Texans is the rookie running back Dameon Pierce who’s been explosive for Houston. On the season he has 539 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns so look for him to get in the end zone. Pierce is the only player that can rush and catch out of the backfield so his playmaking ability will be on full display. The Texans defense is the problem as they can’t hold anyone when it comes to the air attack. The Texans rushing defense has been okay but with Brown/Smith running all over that secondary it could be a long night in Houston. The Eagles have the experience together and they will be a true force to be reckoned with moving forward in the year. With Jalen Hurts in the MVP discussion he will be looking to continue his greatness this season to keep his team undefeated.

Prediction: Philadelphia Eagles 31 – Houston Texans 10

Air Jordan 1 High “Lost and Found” Official Look

Air Jordan 1 High “Lost and Found” Official Look

Featured

The highly anticipated Air Jordan 1 High “Lost & Found” is finally releasing on November 19th. We’ve seen many iterations of the “Chicago” Air Jordan 1 throughout the years but this time around we are getting a “vintage” look to them.

The inspiration behind the Air Jordan 1 “Lost & found” was finding a pair of “Chicago” Jordan 1s in the basement or storage of a mom and pop shop. Many people have kept their 1985 “Chicago” Air Jordan 1 Highs brand new but overtime the leather has cracked and given it a vintage look which was what inspired this “Lost & Found” pair to release. On the Air Jordan 1 “Lost & Found” the leather on the collar, mid-panel, and toe is cracked giving it a vintage look, it also comes with a dusted finish on the outsole. The shape of the “Lost & Found” pair is not its original shape from 1985 but it does resemble the shape of the 2015 “Chicago” Air Jordan 1 High OG.

Look for the Air Jordan 1 High “Lost & Found” to release on November 19th in full family sizing at select retailers and on the Nike SNKRS app.
