Anderson .Pakk’s protest track “Lockdown” which reflected on the current state of America and touches on everything from systemic racism to the climbing unemployment rate and the COVID-19 pandemic, is get the remix treatment.

The official video featured a versus from Jay Rock, which makes it return in the remix. It also features guest appearances from J.I.D, and Noname.

In this new version, the song’s message expands to discussing violence against Indigenous people, the wealth gap, and more. Noname also mentions her book club and Assata Shakur.

Juice WRLD unites with The Weeknd to give us a reason to smile, on their long-awaited collaboration entitled “Smile.”

The Weeknd teased this track earlier this week, brings his XO vibes to the melancholy track, which was previously titled “Sad.” Fans no longer have to wait for the collaboration at the stroke of midnight, the song dropped in full across all digital music platforms.

Prior to his death, Juice tweeted about working with Abel. “Me and The Weeknd would make a diamond record…” he wrote in September.

Both artists continue to dominate the charts. Juice WRLD’s posthumous album Legends Never Die debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and is currently No. 3, while The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” is No. 5 on the Hot 100.

Today, The Weeknd will host a live virtual concert on TikTok. As part of the app’s “first-ever in-app cross reality experience,” a digital avatar of the singer will perform a series of tracks from his chart-topping album After Hours.

The song is the first release off 2 Chainz’s upcoming album So Help Me God, pays homage to Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The horn-heavy track features a marching band

Fresh off his Verzuz battle with 2 Chainz on Thursday night, in addition to revisiting some of their biggest hits, the rappers blessed the audience with some never-before-heard material, including Ross’ unreleased verse from Kanye West’s “Famous,” while 2 Chainz’s previewed upcoming track “Money Maker.”

However arguably the biggest moment of the night was when Ross played a portion of “Pinned to the Cross,” a Finn Matthews assisted track in which Rozay takes aim at Terry Crews.

Cardi B has returned with new music, this single ‘WAP (Wet Ass Pu**y),’featuring Megan Thee Stallion. Following her last single “Press,” the nine-month hiatus is over.

Produced by Ayo n Keyz, this freaky bedroom banger should come with a warning label as its not for the faint of heart. As the rappers exchanging nasty verses over a sample of Frank Ski’s 1992 track “There’s Some Whores in This House.”

“The song is really nasty. The song always been nasty,” Cardi told Hot 97. “My verses and the hook has been the same since before Megan was there. So it just always been a nasty song and it’s like, ‘Who’s saying more nastier things than Megan?”

As the first single from Cardi’s long-awaited sophomore album, ‘WAP,’ has an accompanying video directed by Colin Tilley (posted above) features cameos from Kylie Jenner, Normani, Rosalía, Mulatto, Rubi Rose, and Suki Hana.

With plenty of head-turning visuals as Cardi and Megan roam the halls of this mansion taken over by ladies. You’re not sure what surprises await behind each door. Maybe a ferocious cheetah-print Cardi with cheetahs stocking their pray, or the Houston hottie shows off her flexibility while surrounded by white tigers. They later get hands on while splashing in a pool of water in another steamy scene.

While promoting her “WAP” collaboration with Cardi B, Megan addressed the shooting involving Tory Lanez, where she was injured multiple times in the feet. During a live YouTube chat on Thursday night. Their sexy video for “WAP,” which was filmed prior to the July 12 shooting.

“But the one thing that y’all need to know about me is I’m not a person who is able to be down for a long time. I’m not a person who is…I don’t like to be victimized. I don’t like to feel like, ‘Oh my god, Megan, something’s wrong.’ I like to be upbeat. I like to be happy,” Megan response to a fan question on how she’s doing after the traumatic incident.

“I feel like I always have to be a light, I feel like I always have to be an example ’cause I’ve actually seen some pretty fu**ed up things and I’ve been through some fu**ed up things and I always want people to know that pain does not last forever. Bad times don’t last forever. So I definitely always want people to see me being an example of bad things not lasting forever. Just because you go through something bad, don’t mean that that’s the time you gon’ be in forever,” she added.
